Azrael OTT Release Date: E. L. Katz’s horror action movie Azrael can now be watched online right from the comfort of home. The Samara Weaving and Vic Carmen Sonne starrer is currently streaming online on Amazon Prime Video where viewers can access it easily with a basic Prime membership of the OTT platform. Simon Barrett has penned the film which has a runtime of an hour and 25 minutes.
Azrael on the Box Office
On March 9th, 2024, Azrael made its screening debut at the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW) movie festival. Following that, on September 27th, 2024, the survival thriller graced the theaters & received a modest reception
However, the movie failed to fare well with the cinegoers & ended its theatrical run as a commercial failure, amassing only a lukewarm sum of USD 617, 280 from the ticket windows.
Plot
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where speaking is not only looked down upon but is also considered a grave sin, a woman named Azreal manages to flee away from her cult led by a goddess-like female called Miriam.
However, the girl’s attempt to escape from Miriam & her followers proves to be futile as she soon finds herself captured by them once again. Following that, the mute zealots of the group decide to offer Azreal to an ancient monster that lives deep inside the woods. What will the poor girl do next? Will she be sacrificed? Or will she find a way to survive and hit back at her culprits? Watch the movie and find out the answers.

In addition to Samara Weaving and Vic Carmen Sonne, Azreal also features a number of other talented actors like Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Johhan Rosenberg, Eero Milonoff, Sebastian Bull, Rea Lest, Phong Giang and Katariina Unt in its star cast.
