New Delhi: Animated and geared for children, Barbie: A Touch of Magic follows in the footsteps of Dreamhouse Adventures and It Takes Two as the third instalment in the animated Barbie media franchise.
Mattel earlier revealed their production schedule for the next Barbie TV series in February 2023. The series aired after the live-action Barbie film, Barbie: A Touch of Magic. The pilot episode was released in September 2023 by Mattel.
Now, Barbie: A Touch of Magic, Mattel’s animated series, will return for a second season.

Plot
As the first season opens, we follow Barbie and her sisters as they use their newfound magical abilities to aid those in need in their little village. Great lessons about having faith in ourselves and being brave may be found in everything from repairing a toppling Ferris wheel to healing friendships.
In the subsequent second season, Barbie and her sister are tasked with locating a mystical crystal jewel that has mysteriously gone missing. Throughout their adventures to the mystical region of Mesmer and juggling their adolescent life in Malibu, they meet new extraordinary companions.
Season 2 of A Touch of Magic will delight viewers across the world with its themes of friendship, family, and imagination.
When and Where to Watch?
Set to debut on Netflix today, April 18, 2024, the 13-episode series will follow Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts and Barbie “Malibu” Roberts on an enigmatic new journey.
On April 18, Netflix will release Season 2 in many regions, including the United States, Asia-Pacific (except China), Spain, South Africa, the Nordic countries, and the Benelux. Netflix plans to release the new season in other locations later this year.

The series is directed by Scott Pleydell-Pearce, while Christopher Keenan and Frederic Soulie are the executive producers.
Earlier this year in April, the songs Got the Magic Touch and Center Stage were released as part of a full-length EP that will accompany the series.
A Touch of Magic is the newest instalment in the Barbie series, which has been a smash hit with fans of Barbie: It Takes Two, Barbie and Stacie to the Rescue, Barbie: Epic Road Trip, Barbie: Mermaid Power, Barbie DreamHouse Adventures, and many more. In six different countries, A Touch of Magic Season 1 made it into the top ten TV shows on Netflix.
