New Delhi: Renowned actress Ankita Lokhande has been often heard talking about her ex-boyfriend & late actor Sushant Singh Rajpoot in the Bigg Boss 17 house. Every then and now, the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame has been seen remembering the time she spent with Sushant and getting emotional about the same.
In the recently aired episode of the Salman-hosted show as well, the 39-year-old actress was once again seen opened up about Shusant Singh in a conversation with her fellow housemate Munawar Faruqui.
Ankita opens up about Sushant Singh Rajpoot in BB 17
Having a word about Sushant’s unfortunate demise with Munawar, Ankita said that Shusant was a genius and exceptionally talented person who Ranked 7th in the IIT.
In the same conversation, the actress also talked about the PK actor’s shocking death saying that his demise left her shaken to the core. She said, “Maine jab dekhna na use mujhe laga itna dimag sab khatam? Itni film dekhi sab khatam? (When I saw him dead, I thought this genius person, his so many films, everything, it’s all over? Just like that everything is gone? “)

Ankita on seeing picture of Sushant’s dead body
Later in the convo, Ankita also recalled the painful time when she saw the picture of Sushant’s dead body that went viral on the internet after his death. Speaking about the same, the actress said, “mere hath thande pad gaye mujhe laga jaise so raha hai, mai dekhti reh gayi mai janti thi uske rag rag ko” (I felt my hands getting cold on seeing his dead body I felt as if he is just sleeping, I knew everything about him but it all ended just like that)

For those who don’t know, Shusant Singh Rajpoot committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his residence in Mumbai on 14th June 2020. The actor’s shocking demise left the entire country in grief and a large number of fans started pointing fingers at Shushant’s then-girlfriend Reha Chakraborty, blaming her for the actor’s suicide.
Shusant’s suicide also broke down his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande with whom he spent over 7 years in a relationship.
