New Delhi: Sawan, is considered to be the most auspicious month of the year. Suring this period, Lord Shiva is worshipped. Basically on the Monday’s that falls in the month of Sawan, the devotees observe fast.
According to the Hindu calendar, so far three Monday’s or in other word ‘Sawan Somwar vrat’ has been observed.
It is believed that by doing so, Lord Shiva will in return bless them with wealth of wisdom and patience.
