Chhath Puja Bhojpuri Song: Sharda Sinha’s ‘Chhath Ke Baratiya’ track will leave you teary-eyed (WATCH)

Chhath is not only a festival for the people of Bihar but it’s an emotion, a feeling that pulls all the family members to come together and celebrate it.

New Delhi: Chhath Puja 2022-the four days long festival is all set to be celebrated six days after the festival of light, Diwali. As the festival is approaching Bihari’s living all over the country and abroad are also getting ready for this ‘Maha-Parv’.

The new Chhath video songs and music tracks have started trending and are being realised daily ahead of the festival.

Also, Chhath puja is incomplete without listening and singing to Sharda Sinha’s Chhath song.

On Thursday, a new Chhath song has been released for the occasion titled ‘Chhath Ke Baratiya’ which is sung by none other than Padma Bhushan Sharda Sinha.

The lyrics of the song have been written by Lyricist Hriday Narayan Jha.

At the beginning of the song, a boy can be seen bringing a saree and gifts for his sister, and then he asks his mother if she is doing Chhath or not.

His sister then says that doctor has suggested that her sugar level has gone high so she cannot fast for the maha parv.

Then his mother says “Bhauriya hoti toh Chhath karti na….”

The song beings… “Jaani na Chhath Kea Baratiya….Janii na mahima tohar, sabke purave mansa, suni aragh hamar.”

The son can be seen decorating the house for the Chhath puja and other family members get involved in the preparation.

The son carries the pratha (practice) of Chhath and performs the Chhath puja in yellow ‘dhoti’.
