Big Boss Malayalam Season 5: Akhil Marar Clinches the Trophy, Reenesha Rahman Emerges as first runner-up

New Delhi: Big Boss Malayalam season 5 got its winner last evening. Director Akhil Marar won the reality show by a huge margin by Reenesha Rahman. Akhil won the prize money of Rs 50Lakhs. Seetha Kalyanam actress Raneesha emerges as the first runner-up of the season. The five finalists who competed this season were Akhil Marar, Junaiz VP, Rennesha Rehman, Shiju Abdul Rasheed, and Sobha Vishwanath.

Following the fierce completion of 14 weeks, the Season finally got its winner. The show was hosted by superstar Mohanlal and he himself announced Akhil as the winner of the show.  Reenesha stood at the second position whereas Junaiz VP secured the third position. The makers have released the promo ahead of the finale. In the promo, Mohanlal was seen thanking viewers for their support for the season and further said they have eagerly watched all the episodes meanwhile deciding the fate of these contestants. They have been with them throughout the journey.

He said he himself was too concerned with the happening of the house and was the witness of the contestant’s journey. And Finally, the final day had come. A day before the finale of the season, Cerena Ann Johnson was eliminated from the show. Nadir Mehrin also walked out of the show on day 94 with the money box. Other contestants including Rinosh George and Aniyan Midhun were the ones who recently exited from the Bigg Boss house.

Bigg Boss Malayalam completion began on March 26, 2023, with 28 housemates  Reneesha Rahman, Rinosh George, Cerena Ann Johnson, Sobha Viswanath, Sagar Surya, Vishnu Joshi, Omar Lulu, and Anu Joseph were the wildcard contestants and many others. Director Akhil Marar was one of the best contestants in the house. His humorous nature and brilliant gaming attracted viewers and made him win the show.
