New Delhi: Big Girls Don’t Cry, a drama series, ready to be available on Amazon Prime Video, will mark Avantika Vandanapu’s return to Hindi cinema after a successful career in Hollywood. While facing the rigours of high school, this Nitya Mehra serial examines topics of female friendships, sisterhood, and life’s obstacles.
Plot
The film Big Girls Don’t Cry is set against the background of an all-girls boarding school, and it highlights the tight structure of the school system as well as the female friendships that endure despite all the challenges.
Recently, the series’ trailer gave us a sneak peek at Vandana Valley’s educational system, where students are preparing to make the most of their senior year. A fresh student named Kavya Yadav seeks to get into the social scene among established friendships. All the females in school, except Kavya, are arguing with each other, which makes life even more chaotic for them.
Viewers will be taken to the Vandana Valley throughout the series, where the group of adolescent girls go through typical teenage experiences: friendship, love, independence, heartbreak, and dreams.
