Bigg Boss Tamil 7: Pradeep Antony’s fan allegedly thrashes Jovika’s mother Vanitha Vijaykumar, netizen says, “drama”

New Delhi: Former contestant of Bigg Boss Tamil 3 Vanita Vijayakumari recently shocked her fans by claiming that she got brutally thrashed by a supporter of ongoing BB Tamil 7s recently evicted contestant Pradeep Antony.

The actress alleged that the incident happened because her daughter Jovika, who is currently inside the Bigg Boss house, took part in a protest against Pradeep which also played an impressive role in his red card eviction from Kamal Hassan’s show.

For those who are unaware, Vanitha is a popular TV actress who took part in the Bigg Boss Tamil season. A few days back, the actress openly supported Pradeep’s red card eviction from the show and the same infuriated a lot of his fans who later trolled Vanitha on social media for the same.

 Pradeep’s fan beat Jovika’s mother?

Sharing the horrific ordeal, Vanita took to her Twitter (now X) and said that she was punched in the face by an unknown man who as per her allegation was a die-hard supporter of Pradeep Antony.

The actress further narrated that the strange man assaulted her for being against Pradeep and supporting his controversial red card eviction from the BB house.

Along with her post, she also shared a picture that showed her pale face with a swollen eye and penned, “Bravely posting my attack. BiggBoss7 Tamil is just a game show on TV. I don’t deserve to go through this.”

In other follow-up tweets, Vanita described the whole incident in detail and revealed that the unidentified attacker approached her while she was heading toward her car parked in her sister’s house parking lot and said, “Red card kudukreengala.”

She said, “Ni support vera and hit me hard on my face and fleed away. I was in so much pain bleeding in my face and yelling. No one around was around 1 am. I called my sister to come down she urged me to go report this incident to the police but I told her I lost trust in the process.”

“I took first aid and left home with rage and not able to identify my attacker. He laughed like a lunatic which haunts my ears. Taking a break from everything as I am not in a physical condition to appear on screen. For those who support disturbed ppl danger is just feet away” wrote Vanitha in a chain of tweets.

Vanita’s post about the horrific incident soon went viral on social media and divided the internet. While some, sympathized with the actress, and criticized Pradeep and his toxic fan following, others sided with the Aruvi actor and alleged that Vanitha was just doing all this to seek attention and defame Pradeep.

Pradeep Antony’s Red card eviction

Pradeep Antony, who was one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 7 was thrown out of the BB house after facing a rare red card eviction.

The eviction took place after the majority of the female contestants raised concerns about Pradeep’s behavior saying that the same makes them feel uncomfortable and unsafe inside the Bigg Boss house.

Pradeep’s unorthodox eviction from the show created a massive controversy on social media as his fans started accusing the showmakers and host Kamal Hassan of being biased and unfair.
