New Delhi: The most controversial yet highest-rated season of Bigg Boss Tamil came to an end yesterday with Mohammed Azeem lifting the trophy.
TV actor Mohammed Azeem emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 6 leaving behind other two top contenders Vikraman Radhakrishnan and Shivin Ganeshan. Besides the 50 Lakh cash prize, Azeem also received a brand new Maruti Suzuki.
Now, here is the hunch, many people aren’t happy with Mohammed Azeem’s victory. For the unversed, the TV actor has got a bad reputation due to his over-the-top rude and crass behavior since day 1.
His behavior had been so extreme that people were expecting him to get evicted via red card initially in the season. To everyone’s surprise, Mohammed Azeem not only survived in the show till the end but also got to lift the trophy.

Many people also went after Bigg Boss Tamil’s broadcasting channel Vijay TV.
As Vijay TV’s Twitter handle posted the picture of Azeem lifting the trophy in a congratulatory post, Netizens, in response, flooded the replies with screenshots of them unfollowing the handle.
At the same time, boycott Vijay TV hashtag also began to trend on the microblogging site.
One angry user wrote, ” Next bring criminals fresh out of Jail and crown them too. Shame on you for accepting this narcissist.”
One wrote in a similar tone, ” this is a bad example for already worsening society…you can abuse, demoralize others and still win.”
Turning to humor, some netizens made memes comparing Azeem to Bhallaldev and Vikraman to Bahubali.

Overall the sentiment stayed that either Vikraman, the first runner-up, or Shivin, who came 3rd should have won as both could have been a good example for society.
Vikraman is a journalist turned politician while Shivin is a transgender model.
