
New Delhi: This year’s Billboard Music Awards was held in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 15. The award shows marked the presence of several stars such as Doja Cat, Travis Scott, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Kylie Jenner, and Megan Thee Stallion amongst others.
Meanwhile, Drake was named under the categories of top artist, male artist, rap artist, rap male artist, and rap album for Certified Lover Boy. The rapper was regarded as the most decorated winner in the history of the awards show with 34 wins. Olivia Rodrigo received the title of the best new artist among other awards.
Dojo Cat, on the other hand, won four big awards. For the second consecutive year, she won R&B artist and R&B female artist and also received top R&B album and female artist. Taylor Swift, who has the second-most ever award show wins with 29, acquired four awards this year.
BTS also enjoyed the night by grabbing three awards namely Top duo/group, Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Selling Song. The K-Pop band won top dup/group for the third time, putting them in a tie with One Direction for most wins in this category.
