New Delhi: The Tamil mystery film Birthmark premiered in theatres in February. Shabeer Kallarakkal and Mirnaa feature in the mystery film Birthmark, which Vikram Shreedharan directed.
The film Birthmark will be the second time that Shabeer and Mirnaa have worked together; after the Telugu movie Naa Saami Ranga.
Plot
Set in 1999, Lieutenant Daniel came back to his home six months after being kidnapped in a conflict zone. When he arrived, he discovered that his pregnant wife, Jennifer, who was only six months pregnant, was suffering from health difficulties.
In the narrative, Daniel and Jennifer, who are expecting their first child, go to a remote centre for natural childbirth. Things are not always what they appear to be, even when they are serene and lovely.
Every day, Jenniffer has the uneasy feeling that something is amiss. Daniel and the town seem suspicious to her. Concern for her unborn child grows as Daniel begins to act suspiciously.
Watching the trailer adds to the film’s tension and excitement by revealing the village’s seclusion and cult-like customs as well as Daniel’s worsening psychological state.
When and Where to Watch?
The over-the-top release date for the suspenseful drama is set for March 29, 2024. The Aha streaming platform will make it possible to view it when it becomes accessible.

Cast and Crew
Among the actors who appear in the movie are Mirnaa Menon, who plays Jennifer, and Shabeer Kallarakkal, who plays Daniel. Porkodi Senthil, Indirajith, Deepthie Orientelu, and PR Varalakshmi are some of the other actors who contribute to the cast.
For his directorial debut, Vikram Shreedharan is helming Birthmark. Under Sapiens Entertainment, he is also producing the picture with Sriram Sivaraman. Udhay Thangavel is the cinematographer for this picture, while Iniyavan Pandiyan is in charge of editing. Birthmark will include music composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar.
