Black Doves OTT Release Date: Here’s when and where to watch the upcoming Spanish drama web series!

New Delhi: Spanish dramas are well-applauded each time they come out with something new and fresh out of the oven. It seems almost as if Spanish dramas have a knack for perfecting the world and scenery surrounding spies and assassins and their dark business under the cover.

One such show emerging right now is ‘Black Doves’, one that hones a perfect blend of crime and drama and should be on your ‘to-be-watched’ list on Netflix this year.

The series, starring prominently known faces in the industry such as Kiera Knightley and Ben Wishaw is set to release on the streaming platform- Netflix, on 5th December, 2024.

Plot

The main premise of the show revolves around a spy, who has been successfully feeding the government secrets to the organization she serves. While also having a lover and family in secret she would do anything to protect. As the trailer progresses, the music drops and reaches up to reflect a tense scene approaching, when the spy is informed of her lover’s death.

It leaves several doubts and an imaginable grief and rage swirling in her mind. It makes her believe as if it was her fault her lover was shot dead. Or if she had been possibly the original target. During a confrontation with people sent to kill her, she’s defended by a man.  The man who is an assassin by occupation shoots the last attacker remaining dead with a shotgun.

His task? Protect her and her family. The spy makes the assassin sent to protect her make a promise. He must protect her family and keep her alive. Allowing her to find out who murdered the man she loved. And Take revenge for the action that left a hole rotting inside of her heart.

But, the more the both of them fall into the investigation of her lover’s murder. The more they get enraptured in the web of conspiracies. A bigger problem emerges that they did not anticipate, making them question the morals they’ve followed all these years.
