Black Warrant Hindi OTT Release Date: From the makers of the series “Sacred Games”, another blockbuster Hindi web series is on its way to Netflix. The series ‘Black Warrant’ is set to stream on 10th January.
The web series features well-known names from the acting industry such as Zahan Kapoor, Rahul Bhat, and Paramvir Singh Cheema.
Plot
The trailer starts with the entry of Sunil Kumar Gupta into a police station. The administrator there asks him a single question. Why does Sunil want this job?
The man’s answer is simple. He wants to be a prison officer at Tihar Jail. Because this job in his eyes is the most important secure job of society. This job gives him an opportunity where he can do something for his nation. People tell him that there should be someone tall and strong for the job Sunil is applying for.
Many people he’s familiar with warn him that it won’t be long until he will be running away from his job. Known as the most unforgiving jail in India, Sunil is warned that the prisoners there will eat him up completely. Other prison guards at the jail tell him to ‘man up’ and get fit.
The story of Black Warrant follows the life of Sunil, who is determined to root out the systemic problems plaguing Delhi’s Tihar Jail. There are numerous problems he comes across throughout the journey of his job. Unwelcoming and hostile prisoners, uncooperative fellow prison guards.
He is underestimated by everyone and undervalued. But Sunil is not one to give up. He’s worked hard for his job and he will do whatever he can to uphold it and fight the hostile environment of Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
