From April 10, 2024, the makers of Blood Free will make the Korean web series available on OTT giant Disney+ Hoststar which owns the exclusive digital streaming rights of the Ju Ji-hoon starrer.
This means that very soon, all the viewers who have a subscription to the services of Disney + Hoststar will get the opportunity to enjoy the thrilling Korean masterpiece from the comfort of their homes.
Plot of Blood-Free
Yun Ja-yu (Played by Han Hyo-Joo), is an ambitious CEO of a Biotechnolgy company that is revolutionizing the world by producing artificial meat & introducing an entirely separate food chain.
As she urges more & more people to shift to her new food chain, Yun Ja-yu’s company’s artificial meat starts dominating the markets and the same puts her life under serious threat. How a former Bodyguard comes out of his retirement to save the CEO is the focus of the series.
Blood-Free Cast, Production, Direction and Budget
Written and directed by Lee Soo-yeon and Park Chul-hwan respectively, Blood Free, in its stellar cast, features Han Hyo-Joo & Ju Ji-hoon as the leading duo while casting other talented actors like Lee Hee-Joon, Lee Moo-Saeng, and Park Ji-Yeon in other supporting roles.
The K drama is made with a whopping budget of Rs 148 crore (approximately) and will be released under the production house banners of Ace Factory H & Entertainments.
