New Delhi: Kharaj Mukherjee and Riddhi Sen Starrer Bengali comedy drama Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo was released in the theaters last year on 24 November.
Despite getting mixed reviews from the critics, the film managed to perfectly deliver a heavy dose of 80’s evergreen comedy and tickle the funny bones of its viewers.
Now, months after its decent theatrical run, the makers of Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo are finally bringing the movie onto the digital platform to entertain the OTT audiences & here’s all you should know about the same.
Bogla Mama OTT Release Date and Platform
Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo is all set to arrive exclusively on digital Platform Hoichoi from 8 March 2024. Making an official confirmation about the film’s digital debut, Hoichoi, on Monday, took to its Official Instagram and dropped an intriguing date reveal poster of the movie.
Along with the poster, the platform also attached a caption that read, ” Are you coming to meet Bagla Mama and his team? Date Announcement | Film directed by Dhrubo Banerjee – World Premiere on 8th March, only on Hoichoi.”

Bogla Mama Story Cast & More
Helmed by ace Bengali director Dushyanth Katikaneni, Bogla Mama revolves around the life of Kebu (Riddhi Sen) who heads back to his native town to see his family but is forced to compete against the school headmaster of an arch-enemy village in a theater competition. How Bongla Mama (Kharaj Mukherjee), a middle-aged humorous man helps Kebu defeat his competitor (Rival Village’s headmaster) is the main focus of the movie.
Besides Riddhi Sen and Kharraj Mukharjee, Bongla Mama’s star-studded cast also features several talented actors, like Kharaj Mukherjee, Riddhi Sen, Rajatava Dutta, Aparajita Adhya, and Ditipriya Roy in key roles. Jyoti Deshpande, Shrikant Mohta, and Mahendra Soni are the movie’s producers who got it released under bankrolled by Jio Studios & SVF Entertainment Pvt. Ltd on 24 November 2023.
