Box Office Record: Before Pathan, these Indian films have earned 1000 crores, know about them

First of all, this is to be considered that within five days the film Pathan earned 300 crores. It became the first Bollywood film to touch this figure so fast. Following are the films whose collection has been 1000 crores or more:

New Delhi: In the showbiz world, if any picture enters the 100 or 200-crore club, it means the film is a hit. However, in today’s world earning so much for any film is not a big deal. But now some films are coming out in Indian cinema as such, which are crossing the figure of 500 or 1000 crores. The latest name has been added to this list of ‘Pathan’, which is doing brisk business all over the world.

The worldwide collection of the movie Pathaan has gone up to 1005.69 crores. However, it is not the only film in Indian cinema to have earned so much. Earlier, the films which created history by earning 1000 crores, were the highest-grossing Indian films of that year. Let’s know what is the name of those films.

1. Dangal

Aamir Khan’s film Dangal is the first Bollywood film, which earned beyond 1000 crores. ‘Dangal’ was released on 23 December 2016. The film earned 1535.3 crores overseas. The total worldwide gross of the film was 2,073 crores. This movie was released in China in May 2017 and within a month the film did a business of 1000 crores there.

2. Bahubali 2

SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2′ is one of the most entertaining movies of actor Prabhas’ career. Everyone knows that the Baahubali franchise was the turning point in the actor’s career. As much as the first part of the film was a hit, the second part was liked even more. Released on 28 April 2017, the film earned 1788.6 crores worldwide.

3. KGF 2

Actor Yash starrer ‘KGF 2’ was released in 2022 on 14th April. This South Indian film is one of the most liked films by the Hindi audience. The net collection of the film in India was 859.7 crores. Whereas, it had earned 1208 crores worldwide. Film Critic Ramesh Bala tweeted that ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has crossed the gross figure of 1000 crores at the worldwide box office.

How can this film made with Ram Charan and Junior NTR be forgotten? This is also a South Indian film, which was released on March 25, 2022. The film had earned up to 772.1 crores in India, while if we look at the worldwide figures, the film had done business around 1100 crores. Recently, the movie has also made its track to numerous international awards.
