Bramayugam OTT Release Date Confirmed: Mammootty’s dark horror movie to stream on THIS OTT Platform

New Delhi: Superstar Mammootty starrer latest movie Bramayugam arrived in the theaters amid huge expectations on 15 February 2024.

Right from its very first show, the film witnessed overwhelming support from Mammootty fans who packed the theaters to witness the charismatic acting of their favorite superstar on the big screens. Besides the actor’s stardom, Bramayugam’s engaging storyline & perfect cinematography also received audiences’  praises and contributed to making the horror thriller a huge commercial success at the Box office.

Within a mere 15 days into its theatrical run, the dark fantasy flick, made on a budget of RS 27 crore, amassed an impressive sum of Rs 52.50 crore from the ticket windows & became one of the most successful Malayalam movies of the year.

Meanwhile, following the conclusion of its Box Office journey, Bramayugam will also arrive on the OTT and fans are eagerly waiting for the same.

As per the official sources, Sony Entertainment has acquired the movie’s digital release and will be streaming Rahul Sadasivan’s directorial on their platform Sony LIV on 15 March 2024. This will give the fans a chance to enjoy the  Mammootty starrer unique horror thriller, that too right from the comfort of their homes.

Bramayugam Story

Helmed under the skillful direction of Rahul Sadasivan, Bramayugam’s story circles the life of a folklore singer Thevan (Arjun Ashokan) who frees himself from Purtagese slavery and flees in an eerie abandoned mention that holds some dark secret within its walls. Inside the mysterious home, Thevan is introduced to the property’s beguiling owner Kodumon Potti (Mamooty) who tells him to sing a song before requesting him to be a guest in the house for the night.

However, over the course of time, Thevan learns some hard-hitting truths about Kodumon Potti which make him aware of the sinister entity that has been residing in the house for several years. Following that, a series of unsettling events unfold and change his life forever.

Bramayugam Cast More

Besides the combo of Arjun Ashokan and Mamooty, Bramayugam, in its stellar cast, also sees several other skilled actors including Sidharth Bharathan, Amalda Liz, and Manikandan in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Chakravarthy, Ramachandra, and  S. Sashikanth while its screenplay is done together by T. D. Ramakrishnan and Rahul Sadasivan.  The companies behind Bramayugam’s production are Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios who released it under their banners on 15 February 2024
