It was the biggest day for two superstars of Indian cinema as the next generation stepped in to carry forward their legacy. While superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan saw the launch of his grandson Agastya Nanda, another superstar Shahrukh Khan saw the launch of his daughter Suhana Khan.

But the movie screening of “The Archies” created not one but multiple headlines.
The biggest of them is the appearance of Amitabh’s son-in-law Nikhil Nanda with the Bachchan family.

For the last 4-5 years Shweta Bachchan has been living with her parents in Mumbai. Though officially unconfirmed, there has been news that Shweta separated from her husband Nikhil Nanda.She left his Delhi house, and moved to Mumbai to live with her father. Her husband Nikhil Nanda has hardly been seen anywhere with Shweta and the Bachchan family in the last few years but Agastya Nanda’s debut changed everything. Nikhil Nanda attended his son Agastya’s movie screening with the entire Bachchan family and was seen in the same frame as Shweta Bachchan. However, they did not stand next to each other. It was Amitabh who stood next to his “damaad ji”. Shweta continued maintaining a little distance.
Another headline from this appearance was created by Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan. Amidst the rumor of Aishwarya’s rift with Abhishek and the Bachchan family, she at Archie’s premier got clicked with the entire Bachchan family. For the last three-four months Aishwarya and Aaradhya have been attending all the events sans Abhishek which gave fodder to the news of Aishwarya and Abhishek’s split. With Aishwarya now making an appearance with the Bachchan family, the rumors can rest for some time.

Also making an appearance with Amitabh was his younger brother Ajitabh Bachchan, who has mostly led a private life and has hardly been seen with his brother anywhere in all these years.
