New Delhi: K-pop star and BTS member Jimin donated 100 million South Korean won for relief work for children in Turkey and Syria affected by the earthquake. Turkey and Syria have been affected by devastating earthquakes and aftershocks, which led to more than 41,000 people losing their lives and several getting injured. Relief funds, the UN and other nations are contributing and providing help. Amid this crisis situation, K-pop icon Jimin set an example by making a huge donation for children in earthquake-affected areas.

BTS ARMY and Jimin’s global fans lauded this step and he was trending on Twitter along with various remarks like ‘Thank you Jimin’ and ‘Our Heartwarming Jimin’.

Meanwhile, India has also sent teams of NDRF for rescue and relief operations in Turkey, which have proved to be of great help amid the lack of human resources in the country.
