Suga’s shoulder problem necessitated significant surgery. So, Suga will most likely be working as a social worker throughout his commitment. However, the precise nature of his commitment is unclear.

Next to Jin (Kim Seokjin) and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Suga will now join his required service as the third member of BTS. The statement about the military enlistment was previously made public by the agency the next day, on Weverse, after the BTS rapper wrapped off his D-Day show in Seoul. Now, today, the official date has been finalised.

Suga, as Agust D, recently wrapped off his first global tour in support of his first solo album, D-Day. This album has been a huge success for the K-pop artist. Suga’s episode of V for Suchwita aired last week, and V made his way into Suga’s show as the last member of BTS.

RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will also be joining them shortly. After completing their mandatory military duty, BTS plans to reunite as a band in 2025.
