Story
Ajay Srivastav is taking a new position as a cybersecurity specialist. But he is compelled to seek revenge for the mistreatment of helpless women by a terrible event from his past that included an injustice committed against a girl. When women are in danger, he steps in using the RESQ app to save them. Following the acquisition of a new SIM card, he is involved in this procedure and begins to receive hundreds of calls using a disguised identity. At the same time, Ajay finds himself entangled in a case of murder.
By delving into what happens at home and the secrets of the RESQ app, the narrative reveals Ajay’s inner torment. The film follows Ajay as he attempts to identify Sahasra and discover the reason for her call. In Calling Sahasra, a riveting thriller, Ajay struggles to unravel his life while being engaged in a murder investigation.

Today, on the first day of the new year, the film is celebrating its digital debut on the OTT platform – Amazon Prime Video. Even though it had a poor reaction when it was first released in theatres, there is still a lot of anticipation that it will be received by the audience of OTT services.

In Calling Sahasra, Arun Vikkirala takes the helm. D. Shashi Kiran shot the film, Mohith Rahmaniac created the score, and Mark K. Robin provided the background music. Garry Bh oversaw the editing process. Under the auspices of Shadow Media Productions and Radha Arts, the film is co-produced by Vijesh Kumar Tayal, Chiranjeevi Pamidi, and Venkateswarulu Katuri. Calling Sahasra, which hit the cinemas on December 1, 2023, reportedly has a budget of about Rs 5 Crore.
