New Delhi: Manushi Chhillar, a former Miss World and an actress, set significant fashion goals for her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival. In a stunning white outfit by Fovari, the Samrat Prithviraj actor graced the inaugural ceremony of the world’s largest film festival.
The actress went extravagantly for the big night, wearing a spectacular white gown with a lace bodice and a trail that swept the floor behind her. Manushi Chhillar finished off her dreamy appearance with a bold neckpiece.
Sara Ali Khan and Esha Gupta, both from Bollywood, looked lovely on the Cannes red carpet. While Sara Ali Khan wore a classic ivory lehenga to Cannes, Esha Gupta caught the spotlight in a chic white outfit.

Meenakshi Shedde, a film curator and critic on the International Critics’ Week jury, wore a saree on the first day of the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, and Mrunal Thakur are among the other Bollywood stars visiting this year’s film festival. Dolly Singh, a content producer, and Sakshi Pradhan, a reality TV program star, are going to be in attendance.
Manushi Chhillar won the title of Miss World in November 2017 in Sanya, China.
From May 16 through May 27, the 76th Cannes Film Festival will be held in Cannes’ Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The jury president for this year will be Ruben Stlund. India was the designated Country of Honour during the Marche’ Du Film, which was held in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival in France, last year.
Kanu Behl’s Agra, Anurag Kashyap’s Kennedy, and Nehemich will all be presented at the Festival de Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight, Midnight Screenings, and La Cinef sections, respectively, according to information provided by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Ishanhou, a restored Manipuri movie, will also be featured in the Classics section.
