New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan makes her red carpet debut at Cannes 2023 in an amazing hand-embroidered multi-panel skirt designed by famous couturiers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Sara made a royal statement on the historic stairs during the opening ceremony of the 76th Cannes Film Festival, celebrating India and her crafts. The delicate shadow work embroidery embellishing each individual panel, a suitable look for a regal star, showed a captivating calendar of designs from the renowned couture company of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

The double drape has been celebrated in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s creations, and it has become a component of their distinctive styles. The costume had two tulle drapes, including an appealing one-shoulder drape and a long head veil, which added to the attractiveness. The head veil is adorned with small shadow dots and delicate borders, and both drapes feature the finest shadow work.

Sara looked stunning as she walked the red carpet like a true queen, celebrating her ‘Indianness’ on the first day of the festival. Before walking the red carpet, Sara chatted with Brut about how delighted she is to be celebrating India and crafts at Cannes. She also praised the designer pair Abu and Sandeep for creating the costume, which is fresh, modern, and traditional.
