New Delhi: After a court marriage with political activist Fahad Ahmad, Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker is all set for a grand ceremony to tie the knot. As the pre-wedding festivities kickstarted, the couple shared the pictures from their Haldi ceremony. She also shared a sneak peek into Haldi preparations before the event.
The pictures showed the couple covered in Haldi and marigold flowers used for decoration in the background. They also have different colours of gulaal on their faces and it seems they had a Holi celebration along with Haldi. Swara wore a salwar kameez and Fahad wore a kurta pajama for the ceremony, which was all-yellow like Haldi (turmeric).

Reportedly, their wedding rituals are taking place at Swara’s grandparents’ farmhouse in Delhi. The actor and her friends are also preparing for the Sangeet ceremony, which will feature them singing and dancing.
The couple made their wedding official by sharing a video on social media, which showed how they first met during the CAA protests. Sharing the video on her social media handle, Swara wrote about finding love closer while you find it far away and that they find friendship first before falling for each other.
On the work front, Swara will next be seen in Abbas Tyrewala’s ‘Mango’ along with Chandan Roy Sanyal and in ‘Mrs. Falini’. Fawad Ahmad is the State President at Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, which is a youth wing of the Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra.
