New Delhi: Disney returned with High School Musical with a show. The first episode of season 3 of ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ was released on July 27. The show revolves around the students, from the school East High, where the High School Musical films were shot, who stage a musical production based on the franchise.
The show is created by Time Federle and stars a huge ensemble cast with Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Julia Lester, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Olivia Rodrigo and many more. The directors include Kimberly McCullough, ‘Never Have I Ever’ fame Kabir Akhtar, Joanna Kerns, Paul Hoen, Tamra Davis, Chad Lowe, Brent Giesler and Christine Lakin.
The music in this musical series is composed by Gabriel Mann, who is known for his work in ‘Modern Family’ and by singer, dancer, and actor Joshua Bassett himself.
When and where to watch?
Season 3 of the series is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The first episode of season 3 was released on July 27, while the next episode will release on August 3. The show is available in the English language only. The new episodes of the show will release every Wednesday.
The actors from the series were recently seen posing on the red carpet during the premiere of season 3 of the show. Joshua Bassett also cleared the rumours regarding the original cast of High School Musical being part of the series. However, Corbin Bleu who played the character of Chad Danforth is known to be a part of the show. Joshua also shared that he learned to listen to his co-actor from Corbin Bleu.
