Chilli Chicken OTT Release Date: Filmmaker Prateek Prajosh’s ‘Chilli Chicken’ is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. According to the director, the film is based on true incidents and it deals with subjects like racism and discrimination.

The story of the film revolves around some migrant workers in Bengaluru who work in a restaurant. The owner of the restaurant dreams of opening a fancy restaurant one day.
Apart from him, his restaurant is managed by 5 migrant workers who cook, clean and work in the restaurant and serve the people. These migrant workers stay near the restaurant and their rent is paid by the owner of the restaurant.
However, these migrant workers many a times end up facing the racial comments from the people of their neighbourhood and they don’t feel comfortable living in that area in Bengaluru.
The Kannada film hit the silver screen in the month of June and received an over-whelming response from the viewers and critics. After 2 months of its release, the film made its way to the OTT screens.
The film also reflects the every day challenges and struggles of the migrant workers. How these workers are called by different names in their neighbourhood.
However these workers do get a salary and a house, but what they seek is some respect when they are living away from their homes. Meanwhile, these boys do indulnge in some light activities to take their stress away like making instagram reels, and also preparing black rice pudding in the New Year.
