Chiyaan Vikram turns 57! BTS video of Thangalaan shows how difficult it was for the actor (VIDEO)

The video depicts the Dhool actor shooting in difficult conditions, and the actor has undergone a full makeover for the film. Nobody recognized him.

New Delhi: Thangalaan is Chiyaan Vikram’s follow-up to Ponniyin Selvan 2. The Tamil star worked really hard for this gritty drama about mining, and the early glances from the film illustrate how difficult it was. On April 17, Chiyaan Vikram’s birthday, producer and director Pa Ranjith revealed a previously unreleased BTS clip of the PS 2 star from Thangalaan. The video depicts the Dhool actor shooting in difficult conditions, and the actor has undergone a full makeover for the film. Nobody recognized him.

The film is set in the Kolar Gold Field, and a one-month shoot took place there in Karnataka. The remaining sequences were filmed in Chennai and Madurai. Apparently, just around 10% of the film has been completed. The shooting conditions were difficult, as seen in the BTS film. The cinematography is stunning, and Vikram looks tough throughout the video.

Pa Ranjith wrote, “Happy birthday to my #Thangalaan, @chiyaan sir. Presenting you a slice of flesh, a grand making visual video of Thangalaan as our humble tribute to Chiyaan.”
