Netflix is getting ready to broadcast the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed science fiction thriller Code 8 exclusively on its platform. Plot
As we saw in the Code 8 prequel earlier, Connor’s mother was nearing the end of her life. The expense of her care was increasing by the day, and he was faced with a tough decision: use his superhuman powers to find an illegal remedy quickly or lose her forever. In Connor’s war, the crowded streets of Toronto were the battlefield, and the border between hero and criminal was razor-thin.
Now, in part 2, after being freed from prison, Connor is attempting to remain on the straight and narrow, but he is dragged back into the world when he assists a teen in evading evil police. He must seek assistance from his former partner, who was the one who got him into difficulty in the past.
When and Where to Watch?
The filming of Code 8: Part II spanned the months of October and December of 2021. Code 8 Part ll, which was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023, will now exclusively be available on Netflix on February 28, 2024.
