New Delhi: Rock band Coldplay will feature on Pedro Pascal’s Saturday Night Live and SNL shared a promo with Pascal and band members making the announcement. While Coldplay fans are excited about it, something in the promo made the BTS ARMY go gaga over it. Vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland had a Wootteo sticker on their jackets, which made BTS and K-pop fans pour in their love on the internet.

Wootteo is an astronaut character used by BTS’ Jin to promote his debut single album in October 2022. He created the character’s social media accounts to share the behind-the-scenes and other promotional material for his album ‘The Astronaut’. Jin introduced Wootteo as a ‘cute friend’ who could stand by his fans on his behalf. He added that the mascot has a lot of his ‘personal taste’.
Chris Martin also has a link to Wootteo as he co-wrote the song ‘The Astronaut’ with Jin. He also brought the mascot a show of Coldplay Buenos Aires to introduce to the British audience and his fans.

BTS fans saw the Wootteo sticker on Martin and Jonny’s jackets as a mark of respect for the Korean boyband.
