
New Delhi: Comedian Raju Srivastava who was hospitalised in New Delhi’s AIIMS on August 10 after he suffered a heart attack in a hotel gym in the city is now stable.
The 58-year-old stand-up comedian was admitted to AIIMS emergency at around 10:45 am on Wednesday where he had underwent angioplasty.
The health update was shared by comedian’s family assuring fans that he is ‘stable’.
“Dear all, Raju Srivastava’s condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and doing their best. Thanks to all the well-wishers for their continued love and support. Please ignore rumour/fake news being circulated. Please pray for him,” the family of the comedian shared on Friday evening.
Shekhar Suman also shared some positive news about comedian’s health on social media.

Earlier, it was said that Raju’s condition was critical as he was not responding. There were also reports saying that his ‘brain was not working’ and there was no improvement in his health.

He is on a ventilator at AIIMS Delhi after he experienced chest pain and collapsed while working out at the gym on August 10th. He underwent an angioplasty later.
