Compliance OTT Release: The American Thriler Drama is all set to premiere on Netflix on 5th December. According to reports the film is based on a true story an actual strip search phone call scam that took place in Mount Washington in the year 2004.
Plot
The story of the American Thriller drama follows the life of a Fast Food Restaurant employee Dreama Walker who is accused of theft and being made to go through harsh and severe punishment as directed by the cop over the phone.
Dreama works in a Fast Food Restaurant and everything was going fine in her life until one day when the owner of the Fast Food Joint receives a phone call and the person on the call tells Sandra ( The owner of the Restaurant) tells her that he is a cop.
He tells Sandra that one of her employees Dreama is accused of theft and she has stolen money from a customer and the customer wanted to interrogate her and wants his money back.
The caller keeps calling Sandra and tells her to search her through different ways.The caller identified himself as Daniel and he told Sandra that he is approached by a customer who visited her store and lost his money.
The caller Daniel tells Sandra that to be on the call while he will explain her how to interrogate Dreama in different ways. Meanwhile Sandra also questions another employee but he refuses that he didn’t steal any money.
The story of the series takes a dramatic turn as the caller who tells everyone he is a cop continues giving instructions to Sandra to harass Dreama every single day.
The thriller drama is directed by Craig Zobel and features Ann Dowd, Dreama Walker, Pat Healy and Bill Camp among others.
