Daaku Maharaaj OTT release date: Renowned Bollywood star Bobby Deol recently made his debut in the Telugu film industry with Bobby Kolli’s period action movie titled Daaku Maharaj.

Released in global theaters on January 12th, 2024, the film started off its Box Office journey with a bang and has so far received massive acclaim from both critics and cinegoers. It amassed a whopping 113.5 crore from the ticket windows, slightly zooming past its Rs 100 crore budget

Notably, after wrapping up its journey on the big screens, the film was scheduled to make its digital debut on Netflix by February 9th, 2025. However, it’s already the 10th of Feb and viewers are still waiting for  Daaku Maharaj’s OTT debut with bated breath.

 Daaku Maharaaj’s OTT release postponed? 

According to the latest reports, Daaku Maharaj will now make its premiere on Netflix on a new date, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their home. While no official confirmation about the same is made, sources suggest that the action thriller might will land on OTT on or around Valentine’s day 2025.

Plot of the Film

Set in the year 1996, Daaku Maharaj tells the tale of a former dacoit Sitaram who comes to the protection of Philanthropist Krishnamurthy and his granddaughter Vaishnavi after they become the target of dangerous criminals. How Sitraman ensures the safety of the two while fighting off their enemies is the main story of the film.

In its star cast, Daaku Maharaaj features an ensemble of talented actors like Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi Rautela, and Chandhini Chowdary in main roles. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya have produced the movie under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
