New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha’s starrer Dahaad has buzzed the entertainment industry with its newly launched trailer. The movie will feature Vijay Verma, Sohum Shah, Gulshan Devaiah, along with Shatrugan Sinha’s daughter. The plot revolves around a serial killer drama where Sonakshi, as the protagonist, can be seen investigating a criminal and murderer of 27 women.
This enthralling piece of art is believed to be a cat and mouse rivalry between a seasoned murderer and a cop. The movie is also said to feature on the lines of Delhi Crime.
As the show premiered at Berlin International Film Festival 2023, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to congratulate the team for India’s first premiere release at Berlinale.

Ruchika Oberoi and Reema’s co- directed show will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 12. Meanwhile, the drama is co- created by renowned Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, who was also the creator of ‘Made in Heaven’.
Actor Vijay Verma has been depicted as an evil serial killer who will apparently engage the audience with his tricks and tactics as a criminal. He is showcased as a married college professor who tries to lure young women with the intention of eventually killing them. On the backfoot, he was recently seen playing a negative role as an abusive husband in Alia Bhatt’s starrer Darlings.
On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha has seemed choosy for her roles. Last year, she was screened in Human Qureshi’s Double XL. While in 2021, she was just featured in Ajay Devgn’s starrer” Bhuj: The Pride of India”.
