New Delhi: One of Netflix’s most anticipated fantasy action films, Damsel, stars Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things star) as an adventurer who must defeat supernatural beings. Viewers will be able to see her fight a terrifying fire-breathing dragon on the day that the streaming giant announced.
Plot
A life of perilous struggle for existence replaces Princess Elodie’s formerly idyllic aspirations of being wed to a prince. An alluring spirit led her astray from the royal family, who deceived her and sacrificed her to appease a fire-breathing monster. After losing all hope in her plans to escape the beast’s vast lair, Elodie must rely on her cunning and will to defeat it. Not your typical fantasy tale—this one has a heroine in distress who must rise to the challenge and become her own hero.
When and Where to Watch?
Damsel, starring Millie Bobby Brown, will premiere on Netflix on March 8, 2024, and it will feature Brown’s new persona doing stunning actions once again.
The new Damsel poster, which Netflix just released, depicts Brown at the cave’s entrance, dwarfed by the spectre of a dragon. The film’s release was postponed last year because of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
