New Delhi: GV Prakash (actor-composer) and Aishwarya Rajesh (actress) feature in the new Tamil comedy film DeAr. The main actor stars as a newlywed pair in DeAr, a romantic comedy, and his wife’s excessive snoring becomes an issue of tension in their marriage.
Moviemaker Anand Ravichandran is in charge of directing this romance film. It should be mentioned that DeAr’s idea is the same as that of the 2023 smash hit Good Night, which stars Manikandan and Meetha Raghunath.
DeAr hit theatres on April 11, 2024, and only seventeen days after its debut, it will be streamable on Netflix. Both reviewers and audiences had varied reactions to the romance drama directed by Anand Ravichandran.
Synopsis
The most peculiar and significant obstacle that a newlywed couple encounters is the wife’s habit of snoring excessively. Everything happens in the movie centred on the husband’s sleep disturbance and how they manage to overcome it so they can remain together.
Deepika and Arjun are the film’s protagonists and the story centres around them. Even though he gets a light sleep, newsreader Arjun is adamant that he needs eight hours of sleep every night to do his job well. Deepika is a heavy snorer, and the film explores the effect this habit has on their lives.

Netflix has bought the digital streaming rights to DeAr, the newest romantic comedy starring GV Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film, which is being released in numerous languages, will be available for streaming on the site beginning on April 28, 2024.

Anand Ravichandran wrote and directed the film. The Nutmeg Productions trio of Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty, and G. Pruthviraj provided financial backing for the film. besides acting in the main role, all the music and soundtrack for the film were composed by GV Prakash Kumar as well. The technical staff includes art director Pragatheeswaran, editor Rukesh, and cinematographer Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy.
