Despatch OTT Release Date: Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee is finally back in action with the premiere of his long-awaited crime drama Despatch. Helmed under the skillful direction of Kanu Behl, the movie was initially released at the prestigious International Film Festival of India on November 21, 2024. Following that, it also graced the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival before ultimately landing on the OTT screens today on December 13th, 2024.

Despatch is now available for watching online on Zee5 and viewers can enjoy it from their comfort zones with a basic subscription to the OTT platform’s services. Earlier on December 12th, 2024, Zee5 enthralled the fans by dropping the gripping trailer of the web series on social media.

Plot of the Series
Written by Kanu Behl, Ishani Banerjee, and Vipin Agnihotri, Despatch circles around the life of Joy, a dedicated journalist who is employed at a Mumbai-based media house called Despatch. One fine day, Joy’s life takes a massive turn when he starts investigating a high-profile case related to the murder of a drug lord which also has a relation to the infamous 2G spectrum scandal. Will Joy manage to untangle the mystery associated with both cases? Watch the movie and find out the answer.
