Dhanush wears traditional white mundu to The Gray Man’s Mumbai premiere, hugs Vicky Kaushal

The Mumbai premiere was attended by Vicky Kaushal, Aanand L. Rai and Vishal Bhardwaj, and other celebrities.

New Delhi: Ahead of The Gray Man’s, the makers organised a special premiere in Mumbai. The film is being talked about in India as the film marks Tamil film star Dhanush’s Hollywood debut. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.

Dhanush wore a traditional ‘mundu’ with a white shirt and black sandals to the premiere. The Mumbai premiere was attended by Vicky Kaushal, Aanand L. Rai, Jacqueline Fernandez and Vishal Bhardwaj, and other celebrities. Russo brothers, the directors behind The Gray Man, were also present there. Director duo Raj and DK, popular for the web series ‘Family Man’, were also seen talking to Joe and Anthony Russo. The Russo brothers also posed along with Dhanush as they did ‘namaste’ or ‘vannakam’.

A picture of Dhanush and Vicky Kaushal hugging each other at the premiere went viral on the internet. They were also seen posing together on the red carpet.

Earlier this month, Dhanush also attended the premiere in Los Angeles along with his sons Linga and Yathra. The actor wore a black suit with a white shirt in Los Angeles, while his sons also wore black suits. Sharing the pictures on social media, Dhanush wrote, “When you realise they have completely stolen the show from you ❤❤❤ At #TheGrayMan premiere with Yathra and Linga.”

The film follows the CIA’s most skilled operative, whose true identity is not known by anyone, who accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets. Following that, a psychopathic former colleague puts a reward on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins. Dhanush will be seen playing an assassin named Avik San in the film. Along with the leading cast, the film also features Billy Bob Thorton, Jessica Henwick, Rege-Jean Page and other popular faces. The film will release on July 22 on Netflix.
