Dhoomam OTT Release Date: The much-awaited Telugu dubbed version of Fahadh Faasil's 2023 release Malayalam crime thriller Dhoomam is all set to grace the digital screens this month. While the film's Malayalam version is available for watching on platforms like YouTube (Free) and Apple TV, Aha Video has now bagged the streaming rights of its Telugu dubbed version which will reportedly premiere on the renowned platform from July 11th, 2024 onwards. All About Dhoomam Helmed by Pawan Kumar, Dhoomam, starring Fahadh Faasil and Aparna Balamurali, graced the big screens last year on 23rd June. However, despite having a decent buzz & pre-release hype, the flicker failed to live up to the fans' expectations & received a mostly lukewarm reception from the cine-goers. By the time it wrapped up at the Box Office, the movie had minted a below-average collection of Rs 2.25 crore, causing significant disappointment to the makers. Nevertheless, with the actioner's Telugu version all set to try its luck on the digital screens, it will be interesting to see how it fares with the digital audience. Dhoomam Movie Plot The Plot of Dhoomam, penned by Pawan Kumar, sees Fahadh Faasil's character Avinash as a sales head of a leading cigarette manufacturing company. Thanks to Avinash's exceptional marketing tactics & intelligence, the company grows under his leadership like never before but it all changes when he quits the job owing to his tussle with MD Siddharth. Later, the very next day, some unidentified men attack Avinash & his wife Diya while the duo is traveling in their car. Soon after, a man tells him that a micro bomb has been placed on his wife's body, leaving him shattred & devastated. The rest of the film shows how the enemies blackmail Avinash & compel him to work for them for the sake of his wife's life. What happens next & how the guy frees himself & his family from the looming threat is what Dhoomam is all about.
