Plot of the Series

Helmed and written by Alex Sanjiv Pillai and Steven Moffat respectively, the tale of Doctor Who: Joy to the World unfolds at the Time Hotel, a high-tech place that has several portals that can take one to different moments in history.

With Nicola Coughlan playing Joy Almondo, a freshly introduced character of the Doctor Who universe, the science fiction entertainer will see Joy landing in a London-based hotel in 2024 and stumble upon a mysterious portal that takes her to the enigmatic Time Hotel. What happens there and how she comes face to face with unexpected challenges is the remaining story of the series.
