Double Engine OTT Release Date: An online streaming service premiere of the indie film Double Engine, which was directed by Rohit Penumatsa, is scheduled to take place on Aha on March 29, 2024.

New Delhi: With their debut theatrical release, Double Engine, Rohit Penumatsa and Camp Sasi (also known as Rohit and Sasi) continue to push the boundaries, building on their more than decade-long indie movement in the digital world.

Double Engine has a diverse cast of novices and theatre performers portraying roles who are originally from a dry village located in the state of Telangana.

Plot

Danny returns to his hometown of Tatipalli in the Medak district to celebrate his 21st birthday. He is a shared car driver in Hyderabad and is the protagonist of the novel. While under the influence of alcohol, his boyhood buddy Gopi informs him that he saw a serpent with two heads.

If they can catch the serpent and sell it, they will make a lot of money. Smugglers use the term “double engines” to describe these serpents. They enlist the aid of snake charmer Mouli, accompanied by their other buddy Narsing, in the hopes of achieving their business goals.

Cast and Crew

Muni Myatari stars as Danny, one of several brilliant actors in the film. Rohit Narsimha and Ajith Mohan round out the ensemble and play pivotal roles in the plot. All the supporting characters—Sai Yogi, Sandeep Boreddy, Gayathri Gupta, Kumar Pawan, Viswender Reddy, and Raju Shivaratri—contribute significantly to the story.

Rohit Penumatsa did an excellent job with the direction, screenwriting, and editing of the film. Shashank Raghavula expertly handles the cinematography, an essential component of any suspense film. Ajith Abraham George painstakingly crafted the film’s audio to elevate the whole aural experience.

Double Engine Movie was produced at a budget of Rs 3.5 Crores, which included all the costs that were associated with the picture. The film has been given a U/A censor certificate, and Siddharth Rallapalli is the one responsible for producing it under the Waltair Productions label.
