Dream Scenario OTT Release Date: Be ready to watch Kristoffer Borgli’s black comedy fantasy film blend with horror

New Delhi: Kristoffer Borgli has directing, screenwriting, and producing credits for Dream Scenario. Aster, the famous director, created this dark comedy-drama.

The life of a troubled man is flipped upside down in Dream Scenario, starring Nicolas Cage, the Oscar-winning actor, when he learns that millions of unrelated individuals are dreaming about him. He likes being a star and is engrossed in the limelight since everyone is talking about him. Rapid decline is occurring as public outcry escalates and those dreams turn into nightmares.

Plot

The basic idea behind the Dream Scenario becomes more complicated and murkier as the story progresses. Paul Matthews, a biology professor, who was previously living a normal, unremarkable existence, starts to acquire an incredible amount of recognition and attention after appearing in the dreams of strangers.

Several nuanced stories emerge as the number of witnesses grows and they start to identify him. From pointing out the benefits and drawbacks of fame to its unpredictable and erratic behaviour, Dream Scenario expertly plays by its own rules.

Now Paul may be held responsible for everything that occurs in people’s dreams, even if he has no control over it. Paul finds himself caught amid a sea of fluctuating feelings of love and hatred, even though most people first dreamed of him as a passive, dispassionate element of their dream journeys.

When and Where to Watch?

Before its November 10, 2023, theatrical release, the picture had its world debut in September 2023 at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Indian premiere of Dream Scenario took place on January 5, 2024.

The picture is now getting ready to have its online premiere. Lionsgate Play will make the movie available for streaming on April 19, 2024.

Cast

Not only does Nicolas Cage star as Paul Matthews, but the picture also has a stellar cast including Julianne Nicholson as Janet, Jessica Clement as Hannah, Lily Bird as Sophie, Tim Meadows as Brett, Trent, and Dylan Gelula as Mary, Trent’s secretary.

Playing key parts in the film are the talented Noah Lamanna, David Klein, Kaleb Horn, and Paula Boudreau.
