Dunki Box Office Collection Day 3: Shah Rukh Khan-starrer gets slight rise; ready to reach 100-crore mark

New Delhi: According to industry tracker Sacnilk, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with director Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki, earned an estimated 25.5 crore rupees on Saturday, its third day of release, marking a much-needed rise.

The film Dunki, which featured Shah Rukh Khan, opened in cinemas on December 21. After a successful opening weekend, the picture is on track to earn more than 100 crore rupees nationwide. Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani along with King Khan.

Following the enormous success of SRK’s blockbuster films Pathaan and Jawan in the current year, SRK successfully concluded the year 2023 with yet another incredible film titled Dunki.

According to the industry tracker, the film Dunki made a total of Rs 20.12 crore on its second day of release, after the collection of Rs 29.2 crore on its first day of screening. After seeing a decrease in its box office collection on Day 2, the much-anticipated return film of SRK, Dunki, had a little increase in its collection on Day 3, reaching a total of Rs 25.5 crore.

In addition, according to Sacnilk, the film has earned a total of Rs 91.33 crore as of today (Day 4), after having earned Rs 16.51 crore thus far. A total of 103.4 crores of rupees was made by the film globally.

After its December 22 theatrical release, Prabhas-starrer Salaar competed with Dunki at the box office. Salaar’s opening day total of Rs 95 crore (in all languages) was a solid start for the film. The future of Dunki and Salaar’s box office performance is still uncertain.

About the Film

Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and Shah Rukh Khan are all part of the ensemble cast of Dunki, which comprises colourful personalities played by these performers.

The film is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan and is a joint venture between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Kanika Dhillon, Abhijat Joshi, and Rajkumar Hirani are the film’s screenwriters.
