New Delhi: The third film of the year starring Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is finally hitting cinemas across the globe after much anticipation. Following in the footsteps of Pathaan and Jawan, which both achieved worldwide gross earnings of over Rs 1,000 crore, the film – Dunki is prepared to continue its unprecedented run of success.
With Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and Dia Mirza all making significant performances, Dunki is sure to be one of the year’s most hit films. It also marks Hirani’s comeback after five years.

Plot
The film, which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani, follows Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan) and his buddies from Laltu, a village in Punjab, as they try to get jobs in London. The four village pals all have one goal: to realise their ambition. The only catch is that they don’t have the necessary travel visas or tickets. They choose an unusual path—the “donkey flight”—in their determination to reach a faraway land.
Review
The most important thing for a review is a captivating tale, and Dunki offers just that. Thanks to his unwavering direction, Hirani makes the picture work. Once again, his talent for weaving tales together and carrying them out with precision has been important.
The unique plot depicting the Donkey flight is what gives the picture that additional weight and there are certain parts of the film when the performances of the actors will scream. Notable performances were given by the actors, particularly Vicky Kaushal. The movie would not have been complete without Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani, who both provide strong performances.
The film’s editing and cinematography are top-notch. Filmmakers sometimes struggle to strike a balance between the film’s many moods, but Hirani manages to pull it off well.
