Dwayne Johnson to return to Vin Diesel’s ‘Fast X’, fans react with memes after Black Adam’s failure

According to reports, Dwayne Johnson, who left the franchise and said he would not return after an alleged feud with Diesel is set to return as Agent Hobbs.

New Delhi: ‘Fast and Furious’ has been one of Hollywood’s most successful franchises and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is set to return to Vin Diesel’s ‘Fast X Part 2’. According to reports, Dwayne Johnson, who left the franchise and said he would not return after an alleged feud with Diesel is set to return as Agent Hobbs.

As per a Screenrant report, Johnson will appear in a post-credit scene and will confirm his return. The information was leaked after the film’s Italy premiere.

Earlier, Vin Diesel publically asked Johnson to come back, but the actor refused the offer by calling it ‘manipulation’.

Dwayne Johnson’s last film ‘Black Adam’ got flopped at the box office and film buffs started sharing memes after the actor decided to return to his blockbuster franchise.

During the Italy premiere of the film, Vin Diesel won hearts by bringing his own speaker to play some songs. He also hinted that ‘Fast X’, which was thought to be a two-part finale, is actually a trilogy to bring the action franchise to an end.

Brie Larson and Charlize Theron, who are part of the cast of the film, were the show stoppers on the red carpet of the premiere. Larson wore a single-piece black dress while Charlize flaunted a sheer black outfit with a baggy cap. The moment when Brie Larson went gaga for co-star John Cena went viral on the internet.

‘Fast X’ follows Dom Toretto and his family in their battle against drug kingpin Hernan Reyes. The film also stars Jordana Brewster, Tirese Gibbson, Michelle Rodrigues, and Ludacris. ‘Fast X’ will offer high-voltage action and flying cars in cinemas on May 19.
