“Economics Of Hate”: Richa Chadha assumes UAE banned import of Indian wheat, gets brutally trolled

Actress is now facing blacklash with Netizens schooling her to atleast read the news before making a false assumption

New Delhi: As the world is witnessing a global food shortage amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, countries across the globe have taken measures to protect the interests of their citizens at priority.

In same sequence, the middle eastern country United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended the re-export of wheat imported from India for the next four months.

However, news daily NDTV reported in one of its tweets that the gulf nation has banned the import of wheat from India.

Bharat se Ghenhu nehi mangayega UAE (UAE will not import wheat from India)”, reported NDTV India in Hindi.

However, while posting an entirely fake claim on Twitter, the linked report informs that India has approved the export of wheat grain to the country for domestic use, and UAE has further banned re-export of the Indian wheat to other countries.

An hour after the portal tweeted the false news, Bollywood actor Richa Chadha also jumped in and shared the news adding a completely different perspective to NDTV’s claim.

“Welcome to the international economic impact of hate”, she wrote while sharing the tweet.

Interestingly, Chadha had tweeted the English post made by the same portal which was actually correct by fact, and it seems like the actor misunderstood the difference between export and import here, and assumed that the gulf country has baaned the imports from India.

Moreover, by ‘economic impact of hate’, she was implying to the recently erupted Prophet row where two BJP leaders had made objectionable comment on Prophet Muhammad and the were suspended from the party after strong condemnations by the middle eastern countries including UAE.

The actress is now facing blacklash on microblogging site Twitter, with Netizens schooling her to atleast read the news before making a false assumption.
