Jacqueline Fernandez accused in Rs 215 crore extortion case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekar

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez has been named as the accused in Rs 215 crore extortion case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.

Jacqueline Fernandez, may not be arrested now, but the actor might not be allowed to travel outside the country.

After this charge sheet by the ED, there are reports that Jacqueline’s legal team will counter on the grounds that Jacqueline Fernandez was not aware that she was a beneficiary of extortion money.

According to reports, it is alleged that the Jacqueline spoke to Sukesh while he was in jail.

Earlier, the actor was questioned several times by the ED in this matter.

During the questioning, the actor had told officials that it was since 2017, that she has been in touch with Sukesh Chandrasekhar. She also said that the conman had told her that he belonged to late Jayalalithaa’s family.

Previously, actor’s assets worth Rs 7 crore was attached by the ED. Some of the luxury gifts that Jacqueline received include Birkin bags, diamond earrings, Louis Vuitton shoes, bracelets  and a mini cooper car and several other things.

Also, several intimate pictures of Jacqueline and Sukesh were leaked on social media. Giving strong hint that the couple is in relationship.
