New Delhi: Rakshit Shetty’s highly anticipated OTT show Ekam is finally coming to entertain the fans. After a long wait of over 2 and a half years, the promising web series has found a platform where it will stream in the coming months.
Despite wrapping up with Ekam’s shoot all the way back in 2021, the Kannada thriller’s makers kept struggling for years to make their series available to the audience for numerous reasons. One after the other, several OTT portals kept rejecting Shetty’s debut web series while showing no interest in featuring it on their streaming platforms.
Eventually, after getting fed up with the task of getting his ambitious series released on any digital platform, the renowned director took the matter into his own hands & came up with a unique way of making his anthology entertainer accessible to the viewers.

Instead of opting for an OTT release, Rakhsit, in an extremely unconventional way has decided to drop Ekum on a website www.ekamthesries.com he purchased specifically for streaming his 7-episode series online.
Informing fans about the same, the 41-year-old renowned actor then shared a post on social media in which he detailed his followers about the web series’ OTT release date.
Taking to his official Instagram, the Charlie 777 actor announced that Ekum will premiere on the website on July 13th, 2024, urging everyone to join the waitlist for the same.

However, it may be noted here that to access the content on www.ekamthesries.com, one will be required to make a payment of Rs 149.
Ekam Cast and Production
Ekam is produced by Rakshit Shetty himself under the banner of Paramwah Studios. In its cast, the web show, created by Sandeep PS and Sumanth Bhatt, features Prakash Raj, Raj B Shetty, and Shine Shetty in pivotal roles.
