New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja have been blessed with a baby boy on Saturday. The couple had announced the pregnancy earlier in March, after which the duo have been making headlines in the media for one or other reasons.
The much-admired celebrity couple recently went viral as they celebrated their birthdays together in an old-school manner, sharing handwritten cards for each other while mentioning the sweetest things about each other.
Veteran Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor confirmed the news via her Instagram stories wherein she wrote, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand”
Filmmaker Farah Khan, who happens to be a close family friend to the Kapoor family too shared the same note on her Insta stories. However, Sonam and Anand are yet make their first post regarding the news.
Kapoor and Ahuja had tied the knot in May, 2018, in a lavish wedding affair among family and friends.
Previously, Sonam had gone viral on social media for sharing her baby bump pics with a royal touch to her attire. “On the cusp of motherhood and at the brink of my birthday, I’m choosing to dress how I feel -Pregnant & Powerful, Bold & Beautiful…Thanks @abujanisandeepkhosla for draping women in outfits that bring out the most fierce and the most sensual parts of their femininity”, she had wrote in the caption.
