Exploding Kittens OTT Release Date: Featuring the voices of Sasgeer Zamata and Tom Ellis, a brand new adult comedy series ‘Exploding Kittens’ is coming on digital screens to make your weekends enthralling this monsoon.
Created by Matthew Inman and Shane Kosakowski, the animated show, inspired by The Oatmeal’s card game titled ‘Exploding Kittens’ will hit Netflix on July 12, 2024, allowing the platform’s subscribes to binge-watch it from the comfort of their sofas.

Earlier in June 2024, Netflix officially announced the arrival of Exploding Kittens by sharing a post about the same on social media.
In its pots, the global streaming giant dropped an intriguing teaser of the animated web series & wrote, “Get ready for one Hell of a good time. EXPLODING KITTENS premieres July 12! Next On Netflix.”

Exploding Kittens Plot
A Godcat is compelled to leave its home & decent down to earth after receiving a punishment from heaven’s board of directors.
On earth, the cat arrives in the body of an ordinary housecat & decides to do good deeds and help the needy so that he becomes eligible for the heavens once again. However, as days pass, he also becomes attached to the people of the family & grows more and more concerned about their happiness and well-being.
Meanwhile, a devil cat (the lady of the darkness) also comes to Blue Planet and tries her best to make the godcat’s life hell. What happens next? How does the good cat save himself & his family from the devil cat? the web series answers all the questions.

Exploding Kittens sees Tom Ellis giving his voice to the Godcat with Sasheer Zamata doing the same for the Devil Cat. Besides these two, the dark comedy also features the voices of several other artists including Kenny Yates, Suzy Nakamura Ally Maki, and Mark Proksch.
Mike Judge, Greg Daniels, Dustin Davis, Jenno Topping, and Peter Chernin are the animated show’s producers with Chernin Entertainment and Bandera Entertainment being its production companies.
