New Delhi: Irish comedian and screenwriter Emma Moran developed the series Extraordinary. A second season has been greenlit after the first season’s January 25, 2023, launch, which received several good reviews. The second season of the series is now prepared to be enjoyed by fans. In March, fans of the British superhero comedy will finally get the answers they’ve been waiting for from producer Charles Palmer.
Plot
In Extraordinary, we follow 25-year-old Jen as she navigates an extraordinary world while leading a dissatisfied and average life. Jen was born into a world where, as a teenager, everyone gets a superpower. Some of these powers are common, like the ability to read minds or become invisible, while others are weird, like the ability to make people have an orgasmic experience just by touching them or the ability to add music to any scene at will.
During the first season, she struggled with reality, tried various treatments to awaken her latent talents, watched in despair as her younger sister transformed into a young Hulk upon reaching the age of 18, and visited clinics in her quest to uncover her powers. Despite her failures, she gained love, genuine friendship, and entertaining mishaps that taught her significant life lessons.
Season 1 left viewers hanging with questions about Jen’s abilities, her developing connection with the amnesiac Jizzlord, her beloved cat, and a guy who suffered a complete and utter loss of memory just before his transition and has no recollection of his past lives.
In the trailer for Season 2, Jen works with a power coach to hone her abilities and find them faster. Something goes wrong during Jen’s attempt to introduce her new lover to Mary, her mother, in the previous season when Jizzlord, who has feline sensibilities, accidentally says the wrong thing at the wrong moment because he fails to detect the tension.
When and Where to Watch?
All the episodes from Extraordinary Season 2 will be released on March 6, 2024. The season will debut on Hulu in the US and Disney Plus Hotstar in other regions.

Cast
Cast members Máiréad Tyers (Jen), Luke Rollason (Jizzlord), Bilal Hasna (Kash), Sofia Oxenham (Carrie), Siobhán McSweeney (Mary), and Robbie Gee (Ian) will all be back for Extraordinary Season 2.
In Season 2, there will be even more newcomers including Julian Barrett (Jen’s power coach), Rosa Robson (Nora), Kwaku Mills (Carrie’s new coworker), and Sir Derek Jacobi (an unnamed cameo appearance).
